The couple, who live in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of southern France, confirmed to authorities that they had evacuated. “Dear Didier, at this time we don’t know if our beautiful home will survive this terrible time,” the letter read, according to People .“As we evacuate Brignol, we want to emphasize two things: first, we want you and the people of our city to be safe, and second, Amal and I are committed to making sure that no matter what happens to our village, we are part of this community and we will be part of what makes this community whole (sic),” the note concluded, adding, “We love Brignol and our friends who live there.”In a 2025 interview with Esquire magazine, George Clooney opened up about his life beyond the clutter of Hollywood culture. “I grew up on a farm a big part of my life, and as a kid, I hated the whole idea of a farm,” he explains of his decision to make France his primary residence, adding, “But now, for them, it’s like — they don’t have iPads, you know?
