Commenting on the audience response to Ahmed Khan’s Welcome to the Jungle, Tushar said the response has been both overwhelming and rewarding.He told Midday: “It’s really overwhelming, but also very gratifying. People love the characters and they’ll watch it again and again. It spread like wildfire. “When it came to sharing screen space with the massive cast of 34 actors, Tusshar said the experience felt more like a reunion than a job.The actor, who has starred in blockbusters like “Golmaal”, “Dhamaal” and “Welcome”, admits that working with several stars naturally comes with expectations.“You don’t worry about being overshadowed. But you do worry about standing out. You want to be noticed and get your due,” he told the publication.

I used to ignore it and just focus on my work. “He also noted that the conversation surrounding insiders versus outsiders often ignores the pressures faced by actors who come from film families.“They say there’s a lot of pressure on the outside. But even as an insider, I was told you have to behave a certain way, go to parties, be in the news. So we are also facing this pressure,” he added.

The actor also looked back fondly on the Golmaal series, which he had previously described as the “lifeline” of his career.
