Starring in the espionage action film “Alpha” Alia Bhatt and Shawari starrer “Shawari” continued its solid box office performance on Sunday, ending its opening weekend on a high note. According to box office reports, the film had healthy box office growth on Sunday and crossed the Rs 50-crore mark during its opening weekend.
‘Alpha’ third day box office earnings
According to preliminary estimates by sacnilk, “Alpha” earned a net revenue of Rs 1,325 crore on its third day from 7,439 shows in India. According to the report, this marked a 15.2% increase in collections from Saturday’s net total of Rs 1,150 crore.As per Sunday’s earnings, the film’s total net revenue in India is expected to be Rs 34 crore, while its total India revenue has reached Rs 4,080 crore.

The film, which marks the first woman-starrer in YRF’s spy universe, opened on Friday with an estimated nett collection of Rs 925 crore, following a strong weekend collection. According to reports, with positive word-of-mouth and critical acclaim, the film’s box office collection climbed to Rs 1,150 crore on Saturday, locking in the highest box office on Sunday.
“Alfa” has the highest profit on Sunday
Sunday also became the highest-grossing day for the film at the domestic box office, with the Indian box office total estimated at Rs 159 million. Saknielke said the film’s weekend box office growth demonstrated its strong appeal to urban audiences and theater centers, with Metropolis among the highest-rated releases. Now, the film will look to maintain steady box office numbers and build on its opening weekend performance.
“Alpha” overseas box office collection
Overseas, Alpha has maintained a solid performance, earning an estimated Rs 5 crore on its third day of release.
