The famous actor recently opened up about how his life has changed since celebrating his milestone 50th birthday six years ago. While speaking with People, the actor shared that growing older has forced him to realign his priorities and provided him with some much-needed clarity in his life.He added, “As I get to the other side of 50, at least for me, I really start to feel that time is the most precious commodity. I just do what I want to do with it and make sure I spend it where I want to spend it. He also shared that he has three main priorities in life right now: “my family and my job,” and his nonprofit that provides clean water to poor people.Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso have four daughters: Alexia (27), Isabella (20), Gia (17) and Stella (15). Speaking about his family, he shared, “We have two older kids who have left home, and we know how quickly the last few years go by, and we’re trying to keep what we can do.” He also said he hopes to grow his film company, which he co-founded with his friend Ben Affleck.
Matt Damon admits his life has calmed down
The actor revealed that after turning 50, his pace of life has slowed down a lot. He added: “It was a very fulfilling life. I feel calmer and no longer looking for anything. I just want to do work that I think is really good in my own way and on something that I really believe in. “He also added that as he gets older, many things are beyond his control, which he has to accept. Damon shared, “I just try to think about what I can and can’t control. Instead of complaining to the gods about things I can’t control.”
