Tusshar Kapoor reveals that shooting for Golmaal 5 with Akshay Kumar was almost entirely a grueling night shoot, despite the fun scenes. He once again plays the mute character ‘Lucky’, joining Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shriyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu and Sharman Joshi. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film was shot in Ooty in 79 days.

In a recent interview, the actor recalled that the entire shoot with Akshay was done at night. He added that the scenes were hilarious and that on several occasions he found himself unable to control his laughter on set.

Speaking to News18, Tusshar said that despite the fun on the sets, the team is still racing against time. He said: “We originally wanted to do a good job, because it was a night shoot and we were very tired. In March, the weather was also very hot. Fortunately, it was at night and it was not so humid at night.” In a lighter moment during the shoot, Tusshar joked, “Raat ke teen-chaar baje aadmi vivi ka, chemistry ka, camaraderie ka nahin sochta! Sochta hai ki mera shot aa jaaye, main karke nikal jaaun.”

Tusshar returns as the beloved Lucky, the taciturn character he has played in every film since the series began in 2006.
