Her first look was from the film written and directed by Ramchandra Allen Gonkar presents a rugged, ghostly figure with a piercing gaze, blending old folktale-style horror with the film’s lighter, funnier moments.
Why this role attracted her to this project
In an interview with Variety India, Chaya talked about her look, although the producers are keeping the plot a secret. Kadam said the uniqueness of her character immediately attracted her to the project. She explained: “It’s a story about friendship between young children, so I have no doubt it will be dynamic. As an actor, I insist that each character has something different, and that’s something I focus on.” Ramchandra describes a character from a different world. Her look, her speech, her laugh – everything was unique. He said her language would be a lot of gibberish. So I knew I had to learn a lot and do a lot, which I’ve always loved. “
Can’t recognize myself in appearance test
The director gave her a rough idea of what the character would look like, but Kadam said she wasn’t ready for the final look. She shared, “He gave me some idea of what the character was going to look like and why I needed him. But honestly, even then, I had no idea what I was going to look like when I was completely ready. But when I saw myself in the look test, I didn’t recognize myself. So, I felt good.”
