Jason recalls that Alphonse Puthren, known for directing “Premam”, “Neram”, “Gold”, approached him with the idea of making a film when he was around 20 years old. At the time, Jason was still in school and had not decided to enter the film industry professionally.According to Jason, the filmmaker planned a coming-of-age story and contacted him after seeing one of his photos. Even though the offer came from a director he greatly admired, Jason didn’t feel he was ready to accept it.He explained that he politely declined the opportunity without even listening to the narration. Jason said he didn’t want to hear the full story and later turned down the project because he had great respect for Alphonse Puslen. Instead, he encouraged the team to find someone better suited for the role.Although Jason declined the offer, he described the experience as a proud and unforgettable moment in his life.
Vijay had earlier spoken about his son’s career choice
