The makers of ‘Maharajah’ have given the audience a glimpse of the upcoming Malayalam horror-comedy film in the form of an official trailer. The trailer is filled with the youth of students in a college dormitory, and as supernatural phenomena unfold, the dormitory slowly turns into their nightmare. There are many thrilling moments in the film; however, the creators ensured that comedy still dominates the film’s plot.
‘Maharaja Hostel’ trailer introduces a haunted hotel with unexpected twists and turns
At the beginning of the trailer, a group of students pursuing engineering arrive at the college. They are excited to enjoy campus life and create lasting memories together. However, strange events begin to occur in their new dormitory, fueling rumors that the building is haunted. Fear grips the students, who set out to find the truth behind the supernatural mysteries happening in their dormitories and save themselves. The film also adds to the comic relief of the supernatural thriller, with the trailer showing students getting caught up in a series of amusing scenarios, while the dormitory’s eccentric warden (MGR) adds to the chaos and entertainment.
Songs and young cast add excitement ahead of film’s release
In addition to the trailer, the film’s promotional songs “Magnetic Kannaane Cornet Pol Sweetaane” and “Choothattamo” also received positive reviews from the audience. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration of leading actors Akhil NRD, Akhil Shah, Sharath and Sandeep. They are supported by Chithra Nair, Sajin Cherukayil and Ann Maria who play important roles. The vivid performances, gorgeous visual effects, and humorous interactions in the trailer increased the curiosity before the film was released.
