The 41-year-old actress has announced that she will guest star in the third season of spin-off series The Walking Dead: The Walking Dead.Kinney was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 24, 2026 with Lauren Cohanshe plays her sister on screen. Emily Kinney and Lauren Cohan shared the news two days before The Walking Dead Season 3 is released in the United States. “I’m Lauren and I think you know this guy,” the 44-year-old actress said in the video released by AMC, showing off the singer-actress’ appearance.“Hi, I’m Emily Kinney. I’m so excited to be working with Lauren again,” Kinney said, before adding that she was pleasantly surprised after being asked to appear. “I didn’t know I was going to get the chance to play Beth again. I’m so excited to be here,” Emily said, as Lauren warned, “Get your tissues ready, everyone.”
