While sitting in the live bar hosting the Forged Metal podcast with the BBC, she shared that his doctors had told him that his health was deteriorating rapidly.She commented, “Ozzy knew he was going to die. Two weeks before the show, he was told he was going to die and they said ‘Don’t do this show.'” He said, ‘Yeah, that’s right. Get out of here’. “The musician died on July 22 last year after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Sharon also revealed that doctors advised him not to perform at his final concert because he was too ill to take the stage. However, “what he loved most was with the audience, and that’s how he wanted to go out,” Sharon said.His wife further added, “Just one more time, he had to do it – and he smashed it.” A few weeks before his death, Ozzy performed his “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert on stage at Villa Park in Birmingham.
