Kevin Feige, one of the studio’s top executives, confirmed the news on stage, while Gosling, who was in attendance at the event, shared his excitement for the opportunity.“As you know, this is a role I’ve wanted to play for a long time,” he said. Also in attendance was Deadpool and Wolverine filmmaker Sean Levy, who will direct a new standalone Marvel movie that will also feature Gosling’s Ghost Rider. Speaking about the upcoming project, Levy shared, “I feel the most intense flashback vibes here because I was here two years ago when we screened Deadpool vs. Wolverine.
