The actor also expressed his feelings towards Palak and Ibrahim Ali Khansaying he had no reason to interfere because she didn’t consider him her father.In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Raja said that he has accepted the distance between him and Palak, although it still hurts him.When asked about Palak’s rumored relationship with Ibrahim Ali Khan, Raja said relationships are a normal part of growing up and he didn’t think it was his place to comment.“I would be bothered if she were a part of my life, but she doesn’t think of me as a father. You should ask her mom if she’s bothered. Why should I worry? I’m just a biological father, nothing more. That’s what I was told. I was told I had nothing to do with her. What can you do? ” he said.Although Raja said he was no longer involved in her personal life, he insisted he would always be there if she reached out.“If she calls me in the middle of the night, I’ll be there for her, but she doesn’t need me in her life,” he added.

Raja also revealed that he blocked everything related to Palak on social media as it became emotionally overwhelming to keep up with her life from then on.“I don’t want to see their pictures, their videos, because I’ve reached the point of begging. I’ve defended myself and said how much I miss her. I don’t want to see them anymore,” he said.According to Raja, he took care of Palak every day until she was eight years old. However, after breaking up with him Shweta Tiwaritheir relationship gradually faded.“I’ve only spoken to her two or three times in the past 18 years,” he claimed.

“I am an unpaid house help”

During the interview, Raja also reflected on his marriage to ex-wife Shweta Tiwari, claiming that while she made money for the family, he handled everything else.“She’s making money and I’m managing everything. And she’s making a lot of money. I’m just a manager, who cares about managers?” he said.He claimed that misunderstandings and constant arguments eventually led to the breakdown of the marriage.“I was an unpaid nanny and an unpaid driver. We were just arguing and didn’t understand each other. I was trying to prove my point and she was just trying to prove her point, but no one’s point was confirmed. This is just a broken family,” he said.

Separation leads to mental breakdown

Raja admitted that the separation took a severe emotional toll on him and ultimately led to his alcoholism and continued recovery.“It wasn’t just alcoholism. It was a mental breakdown; these were my emotions. I couldn’t control anything. I couldn’t even see my daughter. I couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that my daughter was no longer with me. I had a very strong connection with her,” he said.Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary got married in 1999 and later separated after Shweta accused him of domestic violence, harassment and alcohol abuse. They divorced in 2012.
