According to Sacnilk’s preliminary estimates, “Odyssey” earned a net collection of Rs 114.5 crore from 4,638 shows on Day 10, a 3.6 per cent increase from Saturday’s net collection of Rs 1105 crore. Including Friday’s collection of Rs 685 crore, the film’s second weekend collection is estimated at Rs 293.5 crore. This is a nearly 50% drop in ratings from the movie’s opening weekend. By the end of the first week of its release, the film has earned an estimated net revenue of Rs 903 million.As per the latest figures, the film’s total net revenue in India is expected to be Rs 1,196.5 crore, while the overall India revenue has climbed to Rs 1,4286 crore.

The English version of Odyssey continues to dominate

The English version remained the biggest contributor to the film’s second weekend, with an estimated Rs 975 crore at the Sunday box office. The Hindi dubbed version has also seen healthy growth, contributing around Rs 140 crore, while the Tamil and Telugu versions have earned an estimated Rs 10 lakh and Rs 20 lakh respectively.

While Vijay’s “Jana Nayagan” became one of India’s biggest hits this year, “The Odyssey” has maintained strong ratings. The Tamil blockbuster is expected to collect Rs 145.98 crore at the box office in its first weekend in India, with a net income of Rs 124.75 crore.
