With only 16 days left until release, anticipation is growing. After the release of the first song ‘Yeh Awarapan’ sung by Arijit Singh, the makers have now come up with ‘Tera Mera Rishta Puraana’, the fan-favorite song from the original is back in the sequel. Unlike the original version sung by Mustafa Zahid, this version was rendered by Subodh Sharma.

On July 29, the makers of “Awarapan 2” gave fans a first look at the much-awaited song “Tera Mera Rishta” and released a gritty action poster. Sayeed Quadri, the creator and lyricist of the original “Tera Mera Rishta Puraana” has also returned to write the song for the sequel, this time working with composer Mithoon, whose emotional musical style adds a new layer to the song and brings back a touch of nostalgia.

Meanwhile, Subodh Sharma once again lent his voice to this song, which is his third song for “Awarapan 2” and gradually became the voice of Shivam Pandit in the film. The producer says the song will be released soon but the release date is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, the action poster shows Hashmi’s character Shivam Pandit standing in the rain soaking wet. Paired with the nostalgic trailer of Tera Mera Rishta playing in the background, the poster struck a chord with fans, reminding them of the original film and its iconic moments. Avaarapan 2 marks the return of Emraan Hashmi as Shivam Pandit and the cast includes Disha PataniShabana Azmi, Suvinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, Aniruddh Rawal and Atul Kumar. Proposed by: Mukesh Bhatt The film is jointly produced by Vishesh Bhatt Productions and Vishesh Films, directed by director Nitin Kakkar and written by Bilal Siddiqui. “Avarapan 2” is scheduled to be released in theaters around the world on August 14, 2026.
