Indian Space Research Organization (Indian Space Research Organization)Indian Space Research Organization) has invited online applications for 244 vacancies under its ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB). ISRO is recruiting for the posts of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), Senior Staff Officer (UDC) and Stenographer at various ISRO centres, Department of Space (DOS) units and autonomous agencies.The online application process begins at 10am on July 27, 2026 and will remain open until 11:55pm on August 16, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications only through the ISRO official website.

ISRO Recruitment 2026: Job vacancy details

There are a total of 244 positions in this recruitment:

  • assistant
  • Junior Personal Assistant (JPA)
  • Upper Division Clerk (UDC)
  • stenographer

These vacancies are spread across different centers, space ministry units and autonomous agencies of ISRO.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates applying for Assistant and Senior Department Staff positions must possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.32 out of 10.
  • Proficient in using computers.
  • Candidates applying for the posts of Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer must also meet the academic qualifications and other qualifications mentioned in the official notification.

Selection process

The selection process includes:The written test will be conducted in 38 cities in India. Applicants who pass the written test will be shortlisted for the skills test based on the number of job vacancies.

Application fee

An application fee of Rs 100 is required for all positions. However, all candidates must first pay a processing fee of Rs. 500 per application while submitting the online form.Candidates belonging to exempt categories such as women, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and veterans will get a full refund if they appear for the written examination. Other candidates who appear for the exam will get a refund after deducting the application fee of Rs 100.
