The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the admit card for the Karnataka State Police (KSP) Civil Constable Written Competitive Examination 2026. Candidates who have successfully registered for the recruitment process can download their admit card from the official KEA exam portal.The written examination is scheduled to be conducted across Karnataka on August 2, 2026, to fill 3,991 civilian police posts. Candidates who clear the mandatory Kannada language test to be held on July 19, 2026 are eligible to appear for the written test.Hall ticket download processCandidates can get KEA KSP Civil Police Hall tickets by visiting the official exam portal. To download the admit card, applicants need to select Civil Police – RPC 2026 exam option and enter the application number or registration ID.Candidates must also provide the first four letters of their name accurately as mentioned in the application form, enter the security verification code and submit the details. After successful verification, the hall ticket will appear on the screen. Candidates should download and clearly print their admission ticket on the day of the exam.Exam timetable and vacancy detailsThe written examination will be conducted in two sessions according to the cadre classification. Candidates applying for the remaining parent cadre positions (including General/Mikkilida vacancies) will attend the morning meeting from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon. The Kalyana Karnataka Cadre Organization examination under Section 371-J will be conducted from 2:30 to 4:00 pm.Out of the total 3,991 vacancies, 3,395 posts belong to the ‘Residual Parent Cadre’ and 596 posts belong to the ‘Kalyan Karnataka Cadre’.Exam Pattern and Selection StageThe written examination will be conducted in offline mode using OMR based answer sheet. The test paper is worth 100 points and candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the test. A negative marking scheme will be used, with 0.25 points deducted for each incorrect answer.The selection process consists of a written test followed by Physical Standard Test (PST) and Endurance Test (ET) for the shortlisted candidates as per the written test cut-off time. KEA will select candidates for the physical fitness test in a ratio of 1:2.Recruitment time and physical requirementsThe official recruitment notification will be released on June 5, 2026, and the online application process will begin on June 8. The last date to submit an application has been extended to July 8, followed by an application modification window from July 10 to July 13. Hall tickets for the mandatory Kannada language test were issued on July 17 and the test was conducted on July 19.A total of 3,90,715 candidates registered for the recruitment cycle and approximately 98 candidates competed for each vacancy.Candidates who appear for the physical fitness test after passing the written examination must meet the prescribed standards. General male and veteran candidates are required to be at least 168cm tall, with a chest circumference of 86cm and an abduction of 5cm. The height requirement for female and third gender candidates is not less than 157 cm and the weight is not less than 45 kg. There are separate requirements for candidates from tribal areas in the forest regions of Karnataka, with a minimum height standard of 155 cm for men and 150 cm for women.
