Medals table: India jumps to eighth place with 10 medals
India climbed to eighth place in the Commonwealth Games medal tally after bagging six medals on day five, taking its tally to 10 medals, including two gold, five silver and three bronze.Australia continues to lead the medal table with 59 medals (26 gold, 13 silver and 20 bronze), while England is second with 32 medals. Canada is in third place with 21 medals, followed by Nigeria (10) and Scotland (11). South Africa and Malaysia tied with 11 medals, followed by India with 10 medals. Jamaica rounded out the top nine with two gold medals, while New Zealand rounded out the top 10 with eight medals.
