There’s no doubt about it.”The actor stressed that his praise was not motivated by publicity obligations.“I’m not saying this because I am a part of the film and have to sell the film. Only Ramu can sell his film. He doesn’t need Manoj Bajpayee to do that,” Bajpayee said with a smile.Looking back on Varma’s filmmaking process, Bajpayee said he noticed a familiar creativity that reminded him of the director’s best days, “But I realized that this kid Ramu was back. According to the actor, before the shoot began, Varma surprised him with an unusual request.Bajpayee said: “He knew I was going home and started preparing. He told me, ‘Manoj, do me a favor. Don’t prepare for this film. Just remember that he is a police officer. Because I will change a lot of things.'”Bajpayee described the shoot as exciting and demanding as Varma often changed scenes and dialogues at the last minute.Bajpayee explains, “I shoot the scenes before shooting begins. Then I would find time, find a quiet corner in a very loud scene, memorize and rewrite those lines, sit with my co-actors and make it really work.
