There have been rumors over the past few days that System Of A Down and Faith No More will be touring. However, now the band have confirmed they will be touring in 2027 with four major dates in Australia and New Zealand! Here’s what we know so far about the two rock bands and their return to Australia and New Zealand.
System Of A Down and Faith No More tour Australia and New Zealand
On Friday, fans and netizens began spotting murals featuring the former band’s iconic hand symbol in various spaces across Sydney and Melbourne. Now, the band have confirmed that the trailers and murals exist for a reason, as they will be touring Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Wellington during shows in January and February next year. The band announced on their Instagram account that they will be touring in 2027, with tickets officially going on sale to the public on Friday 31 July at 10am (Sydney), 11am (Melbourne and Wellington) and 12pm (Brisbane). On the other hand, ticket pre-sales will begin on July 29th, while artist pre-sales for anyone who registers on the official mailing list will begin on July 28th at the earliest.Performances will be held at the following times:Friday 22 January, Accor Stadium, Sydney, NSWWednesday 27 January, Marvel Stadium, Melbourne, VICMonday 1 February, Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, QueenslandSunday 7 February, Henley Stadium, Wellington, New ZealandA full decade after performing at Soundwave Festival in 2012, System of a Down will return to Australia. Most recently, the band toured the UK and Europe at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas in early April this year. Faith No More will also be performed there for the first time in a decade. The group was scheduled to return in 2020; however, due to sudden COVID-19 restrictions, everything was canceled.
