Talking about the production of Ramayana, Yash emphasized that the team’s commitment to the story was the biggest force behind the project.

As quoted by Telengana Today, he said: “I think intention is the most important thing. You have the right intention and the right team. When we start with the right intention, everything will fall into place.”He added, “I think there are a lot of aspects to the story itself, and we started with the right intentions and started figuring out a lot of aspects of life while making this movie. Technically, yes, it was very demanding.”
Yash talks about the challenges of playing Ravana
Yash also said that playing Ravana was not easy. Talking about the challenges, he said: “Like makeup and looks, there are a lot of challenges. But I think ultimately, when you’re trying to tell a story, that’s why we’re all here. We love stories, and we’ll do whatever it takes to present that story in the most authentic way possible.”The actor expressed confidence in the final product, concluding: “I think we can do it in a pretty good way, that’s what I believe.”
Ramayana to be released in two parts
Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is one of the most ambitious films ever made in India. The mythological epic will be released in two parts, with the first part scheduled to hit theaters during Diwali 2026. The second part is expected to be released in 2027.The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana and Yash as Ravana.Apart from Ramayana, the actor is also gearing up for Toxic, which releases on August 26.
