In a new statement posted on X on July 26, Amal made it clear that he would not be retracting his statement, but would simply be archiving the post. He explained that the decision came from “a place of clarity” and insisted he had “done what was necessary”. The singer further claimed that he had been silent for nearly a decade before finally speaking out. “It took me nearly ten years to hold back my anger, and it took a lot of patience. Ten years later, I have to stand up… because no one is willing to stand up for what is right,” he wrote, claiming he was determined to expose what he called the “scum” of the music industry.
Amar Malik’s warning to Tanishq Bagchi
Amal claimed he exposed the “truth” about “a very bad man” and expressed belief that karma will eventually catch up. He also had a sharp warning for Tanishk, writing in Hindi: “Bete, mujhse toh aukaat mein hi rehna” (Son, you better stay with me and stay within your limits.) He described it as a “lifelong warning”. He added that if he came across any further inappropriate behavior in the future, he would not hesitate to speak out again.
Amaal Mallik’s earlier accusations against Tanishk Bagchi
Previously, Amal had made accusations against Tanishk, claiming that he plagiarized music and passed off other people’s work as his own. He also claimed to have been threatened chief minister of maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis” name, and further claimed that Tanishk emotionally abused and misled her on the pretext of marrying her.
Tanishq Baji has not responded yet
As of now, there has been no public reaction from Tanishq Bagchi or his team to Amar Malik’s latest remarks.
