The Indian Air Force has started recruitment for MTS Group C; as of July 27, 2026, a total of 6 offline applications are accepted for positions

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released Advertisement No. 02/2026, inviting applications for direct recruitment to Multi-Task Personnel (MTS) under Group C civilian posts. Eligible Indian citizens can apply for vacancies at designated Air Force bases and units through the prescribed offline application process.This recruitment drive provides six MTS vacancies for the Headquarters Maintenance Command. Candidates must send the completed application form to the specified postal address within 30 days of publication of advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar. The notice appears in the June 27 to July 3, 2026 edition of the publication, making July 27, 2026 the last date to receive applications.

Eligibility criteria and vacanciesRecruitment is open to candidates between the ages of 18 and 25 years. The deadline for determining age eligibility is the deadline for submission of applications, which is July 27, 2026. The age relaxation will be done as per government regulations.A total of six vacancies have been announced for the post of multitasking officer. Applicants must pass Class 10 examination from a recognized board or institution to be eligible for the post.Selection process and exam patternSelection will be through written test only. Prior to the examination, applications will be reviewed to verify age, education, supporting documents and other qualifications. Qualified candidates will receive written test notification letters.The written test will cover general intelligence and reasoning, numerical ability, general English and general awareness. The question paper will be available in English and Hindi. Candidates who are shortlisted for the examination must present the original certificate and a copy of the attachment submitted during registration for verification.Offline application processApplications must be submitted in the format specified in Annex 1 of the notification. Candidates should attach documents supporting educational qualifications, age, experience, caste, disability status and other applicable declarations. OBC applicants are required to submit a valid non-creamy layer certificate, while EWS applicants are required to submit a valid asset certificate.The application form should be printed in English or Hindi and accompanied by a self-attested recent passport size photograph. Applicants must also attach two additional passport size photographs, a self-addressed envelope stamped with Rs. 10 stamps and clearly indicate the post name and category on the envelope. The completed application form should be sent to Commandant, IAM, IAF, Vimanapura PO, Bangalore – 560017. Applications received prior to posting or after the deadline will not be accepted and postal delays will not be considered.
