Malayalam actress Anumol opened up about her decision to remain single and said she is happy with her life. The actress revealed that she likes to be independent and doesn’t want to share her personal space with others at the moment.During an appearance on the “Isn’t It Lovely” podcast, the actress opened up about relationships, marriage and the importance of emotional comfort. She explains that at this stage in her life, being single brings her happiness and inner peace.
Anumol says she is productive and happy
Talking about her current stage of life, Anumol said she has no regrets about remaining single. She also revealed that she once had a relationship, but it ended in the end.She said: “I am single, so I am very productive and happy at work. I have also tried to fall in love, but it didn’t work out. My family used to always ask me when I would get married, and I think they have realized now that I may never get married. Even so, whenever someone asks me about getting married, I would jokingly tell them, ‘Find me a good man, and if you are willing to pay for the wedding, I will get married.'”
Why sharing personal space feels difficult
Anumol also explained why he now feels overwhelmed by the thought of living with someone else. She said she values solitude and often needs alone time to recharge after a few days with friends.Sharing her thoughts, she said, “Right now, sharing my personal space with another person is difficult for me. Even if I spend five or six days with close friends, I start feeling suffocated. After that, I need to go to a cafe alone, sit alone with a cup of coffee and recharge. If that’s me, how can I suddenly share my bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, bathroom or even sofa with someone else?” The actress said independence has become an important part of her personality. She believes it would take a major adjustment to completely change this lifestyle.
Anumol’s definition of love may change over time
While Anumol is content with her current life, she doesn’t rule out the possibility that her views may change in the future.She said: “I have lived independently for so long, I don’t know how my life will suddenly change. Maybe, as I grow older and become more mature, my definition of love itself may change.”
Marriage means something different now
Anumol also revealed that her thoughts on marriage have changed over the years.She said: “Previously when I thought about getting married, I imagined a big celebration with sarees, jasmine flowers and lots of guests. But now I tell my sister that if I get married, I would rather just have a small celebration with the people who truly love us. That’s enough for me.”Anumol is known for his performances in Malayalam films “Ivan Megharoopan”, “Jamna Pyari” and “Padmini”.
