Cape Verde goalkeeper Woznia has found a new club after a memorable World Cup campaign, joining Colo-Colo as a free agent. Instead, Woznia chose to continue his career at Colo-Colo, who announced the signing with the “AURA” caption embedded in the announcement post on social media. Although Cape Verde failed to win a game, the veteran goalkeeper became one of the biggest stories of the World Cup. The Blue Sharks, participating in the tournament for the first time in the country’s history, reached the last 32 after three tough draws but narrowly beat defending champions Argentina 3-2 after extra time.Woznia was outstanding throughout the game, making a series of excellent saves, especially against Lionel Messi.
