According to recent reports, the famous Korean actor PO (real name Pyo Ji-hoon) has been hospitalized. The actor was in Jeju Island and was hit by an oncoming vehicle while walking on the road. The actor recently became popular for his role in the latest TV series “Teach You a Lesson.” In addition to his on-screen acting credits, he also debuted as an idol in the popular K-pop group Block B.
PO hospitalized due to traffic accident
When the actor was crossing the road in Geumneung-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju City, an oncoming car hit him. “Chosun Ilbo” reported that the accident occurred at around 9:56 pm on July 19, and the driver’s name has not yet been made public. Although his injuries were not life-threatening, he was taken to the hospital for treatment and examination soon after the accident. He suffered injuries to his elbows and knees and was reportedly in constant pain at the time of the accident.According to reports, the Jeju West Police Department also issued a statement on July 22 saying that the driver was not affected at the time. In addition, the driver did not violate traffic rules and was driving in accordance with the law. As of now, the cause of the accident has not been revealed. The police are currently investigating the matter.The actor is reportedly filming a variety show as well as an upcoming TV series. The PO is expected to continue with his ongoing schedule. He was last seen on screen in Teach You a Lesson and is a regular on the reality show Magic Saturdays. He is also currently involved in the filming of the upcoming TV series “Good Partner Season 2”.Some of his other critically acclaimed roles include Hotel Del Luna, Rats, Yumi’s Cell Season 2, Encounter, and Good Company. He remains active as one of Block B’s main rappers and dancers.
