The Ramayana panel is scheduled for Thursday at 3:15 pm PDT in SDCC’s 4,800-seat Ballroom 20. The session was moderated by entertainment journalist Coy Jandreau and was attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra.During the presentation, the team is expected to discuss the vision behind the film, large-scale production, character development and adapting the ancient Indian epic for a global audience. The panel will also reportedly include the premiere of exclusive footage, followed by the debut of the film’s official trailer.

According to the Comic-Con schedule, the presentation will take place between 3:15 and 4:15 AM IST on July 24, when the trailer is expected to be shown to attendees in San Diego. Fans in India are waiting to get a glimpse of the trailer and may have to wait for a while longer.According to a screenshot shared online by PVR Pictures officials, the trailer is slated to be released on digital platforms and cinemas on July 24 at 10 am IST. Meanwhile, other reports suggest that the trailer will be released at 8 AM IST.However, the producers have only confirmed July 24 as the release date and have not disclosed any scheduled release time yet.
Will the English dub version of Ramayana premiere at Comic-Con?
The makers are also expected to launch a specially formatted English-dubbed version of the trailer at Comic-Con.According to the production team, the English version will use artificial intelligence-assisted lip synchronization technology to match the actors’ lip movements with the dubbing dialogue for international audiences. The move is part of an elaborate global distribution strategy for the film.
