For the event, Ami Patel designed a monochrome golden yellow checked Kanjivaram saree for Rakul from local brand Kankatala. The main body of the silk saree is embellished with gold and silver zari checks that give off a subtle sheen, while the gold zari brocade border features peacock and elephant patterns embedded in floral vines that run throughout the curtain. The pallu reflects the same intricate details that keep the design cohesive from start to finish. It was paired with a coordinating plain blouse with zari borders.This saree is from Kankatala’s collection and is priced at Rs 49,144.Rakul completed the look with jewelery from Shri Paramani Jewels, opting for a coordinated set of earrings, necklace, belt, bracelets and ear chains. Her shirt is from the brand Nafs.For the glam look, the actress kept it simple with a nude pink lip, soft eyeliner, perfectly groomed brows and a light blush on her cheeks. Her hair was styled in soft waves, parted in the middle, and pulled into a half bun, a choice that allowed her earrings to take center stage.

The Pratham Sankalp event marks the first public reunion of the entire cast of Ramayana ahead of the launch of the film’s global trailer.
