Along with the trailer release, Pankaj Tripathi recently spoke to Mid Day about his decision to give up his salary for the project. The actor explained that he wanted to support director Amit Rai and contribute to a film that prioritizes storytelling over commercial considerations. Tripathi revealed that his long-standing association with producer Ajay Rai and director Amit Rai played a major role in his decision. He said, “Producers Ajay Rai and Amit Rai are old friends of mine. Commercial films are made with money, but independent films, small films, storytellers, if there are no actors like us, who will support them? ” Pankaj Tripathi also recalled his experience while shooting for Ohh My Dog and revealed that the Bihar backdrop of the story made the project more personal for him. Although the original shooting time was only a few days, he voluntarily extended his stay and even arranged local shooting support.He shared, “The story takes place in Bihar. Amit asked me to shoot for four days and I told him that I would come and shoot for six days. I also called my friends in Bihar and we supported the film in every way.
