In a recent interview, Singer reflected on the patience and faith behind her choices, saying she was always waiting for the right script rather than simply staying busy.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Mona Singh reflects on her journey to get here and believes in staying patient and waiting for meaningful opportunities instead of taking projects just to maintain visibility. Looking back on her career, Mona said she never let setbacks shake her belief in herself, adding that perseverance was at the core of her journey.“I never thought in my life that this wouldn’t happen,” Singer said. “Nothing is impossible. If I had given up, honestly, I wouldn’t be standing in front of you today. I just keep going, stay consistent, and I’m always waiting, not for the next script, but for the right script. I think that’s why all my versions look so different. They look like a carefully planned job, not a random collection of jobs…” I did the right job.

The “Bollywood Bad” actress also shared the parameters that guide her in choosing scripts and revealed that she actively looks for roles that challenge her both as an actor and as a woman.Explaining her thought process, Mona said: “As an actor, as a woman, this is something I’ve never done before. I want to be able to take on challenges that I’ve never done before. I don’t want women to just be used as moral compasses… Or just be a relatable girl next door…or just be a good mother. Is she leading the script? Is she driving the narrative? Does the script celebrate her ambition and resilience? This is what I’m looking for.
