Key statistics for DCET 2026As per the available exam data, a total of 20,046 candidates appeared for the Karnataka DCET exam 2026. Only 247 candidates (about 1.18% of candidates) received 80 points or above (out of 100 points). The DCET ranking is calculated using a 50:50 weightage formula by combining the entrance exam scores with the total marks obtained in the fifth and sixth semesters of the diploma programme. The admission ratio for lateral admission in engineering colleges approved by AICTE is 10% of the approved admissions.
