Candidates who participated in the counseling process can now check their allotment status by visiting the official website josaa.nic.in.To access the results, candidates must log in using their application number and password.Candidates who have been allocated a seat must download the seat allotment letter and complete the online reporting process through the admissions portal on or before July 20, 2026. Completion of the reporting process within the deadline is a requirement for confirmation of allocated seats.

Candidates can download the allotment letter by following the steps below:
- Visit the official website: josaa.nic.in.
- On the home page, go to the Candidate Activity Board.
- Click on the link titled “View JoSAA 2026 Round 5 Seat Allocation Result”.
- Enter your application number and password.
- Submit your details to see results.
- Check assigned institutions and courses.
- Download and save the assignment letter for future reference.

Candidates should have the following documents ready for the admission process:
- Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Admit Card and Scorecard
- Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced Admit Card 2026 (Indian Institute of Technology Admissions)
- Class 10 certificate or birth certificate as proof of date of birth
- Grade 12 transcript and pass certificate
- Passport size photo
- Valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID or passport
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) or Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate (if applicable)
