this Delhi University (DU) Signed Memorandum of Understanding (memorandum of understanding) has collaborated with the India Cybercrime Coordination Center (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs to expand cooperation in cyber security, awareness and capacity building.The agreement was signed on Monday in the conference room of Vice Regal Villa. The partnership aims to build a stronger cybersecurity ecosystem within the university through awareness campaigns, workshops, seminars and student engagement programs.The two institutions will also collaborate on hackathons, competitions, internships, cyber volunteer programs, and academic activities related to cybersecurity. This cooperation will promote University Grants Commission (UGC) informs the cybersecurity curriculum and encourages knowledge sharing between government and academia.

University officials said the partnership aims to increase students’ understanding of cybercrime prevention and cyber hygiene while creating opportunities to participate in research and practical training.This collaboration was made possible on the initiative of Professor Sanjeev Singh. The signing ceremony was attended by Professor K. Ratnabali and senior officials of DU and I4C.The agreement comes as universities are increasingly expanding cybersecurity education beyond the classroom through industry and government partnerships.
