The actor is expected to continue shooting till Diwali, after which he will reportedly take paternity leave around November to spend time with his growing family. It is said that the second phase of the film will resume in 2027.“Pralay” is a zombie thriller and marks Ranveer’s first foray into the genre. Although the producers are tight-lipped about the plot and supporting cast, the project has already created quite a buzz among fans.Pinkvilla had previously reported that a majority of the film would be shot in Australia. “Ranveer will start shooting for the film directed by Jai Mehta in the second half of 2026. The shooting is scheduled to take place in Australia and he has already started preparations. Considering the scale and genre, the film will require a lot of physical and emotional preparation,” a source told an entertainment portal.On the personal front, Ranveer and Deepika are gearing up to expand their family. The couple married in 2018 and became parents to daughter Dua in September 2024, consciously keeping her out of the public eye. They jointly announced on social media that they are expecting their second child in April this year.Deepika is currently in her third trimester of pregnancy. Ranveer has reportedly decided to take a break from his job later this year, which is said to reflect his desire to be with his family during the birth of his second child.
