Actor Govinda is all set to return to the big screen with his upcoming films “Roopa” and “Duniyadari”. The veteran star announced the project today, in which he will be paired opposite newcomer Rani Swarnkar. Apart from acting, Govinda also serves as a producer for the film.At the press conference of the film, Govinda spoke about his personal and professional life. He also shared his thoughts on Roopa and what the project means to him. “Now I am ready. You will see the entire cast soon and we will announce it in the next meeting. The audience will see a lot of new people from Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra,” he revealed at a press conference talking about the film to the media. He shared, “Both ‘Rupa’ and ‘Dhuniyadari’ will be different types of films, especially made for the youth. Because young people have a lot of expectations at the beginning, but sometimes they get lost. I’m going to show the Mayan part in this movie. Young people should not feel like they are lost in the crowd. They should be confident and rooted in their roots. “He further added, “When I was working in films, the whole world was amazed at the way I was here. I’m not afraid of anything. I don’t shy away from the truth, I foresee what’s going to happen in advance. I tell the truth and people don’t believe me and some even abuse me and say, ‘Look what I’m talking about.'”
Govinda’s professional front
Govinda was last seen on the big screen in the 2019 film Rangeela Raja, in which he played a dual role. However, the film failed at the box office. In 2022, he appeared in the documentary “Naam Tha Kanhaiyalal”. The actor has been away from movies for seven years. Some of his recent projects include “Friday”, “Aa Gaya Hero”, “Hey Bro”, “Happy Ending”, “Kill Dil”, “Deewana Main Deewana” and “Delhi Safari”.Additionally, Govinda’s wife Sunita and son Yashvardhan Ahuja are also making their film debut and will be seen in Ekta Kapoormovie.
