Prince Harry experienced an unexpected moment during a goat yoga class at a charity event in the UK. The Duke of Sussex had a funny incident in which an animal became overly enthusiastic during an event, resulting in good-natured laughter from the royal family.According to People magazine, on Saturday, July 11, Harry attended the Scotty Summer Festival in Warwickshire, England, an annual event organized by the charity that supports children who have lost a parent in the armed forces. During his visit, he attended a goat yoga class, where children wearing matching shirts tried various poses on his mat, surrounded by curious animals.A video obtained by The Associated Press captured a particularly funny moment when a goat jumped right on top of Harry as he lay in a yoga pose. The Duke immediately tried to save himself, but burst out laughing at the unexpected contact.
Prince Harry’s long-standing support for charities
Prince Harry’s presence at the festival reflects his strong commitment to supporting the organisation. The Duke, who lost his mother Princess Diana when she was 12, also served in the British Army and has supported Scotty’s Little Soldiers since 2017. He became the charity’s global ambassador in 2023, cementing his role as an advocate for bereaved military children.

Other events and emotional moments of the festival
As well as goat yoga sessions, Harry also took part in a variety of other activities during the festival. He was hit with water balloons in an inflatable obstacle course and competed in light-hearted competitions with festival goers. However, the most poignant moment came when a 9-year-old girl named Poppy asked him an emotionally important question at the event.“What makes you laugh when you’re having a hard day?” Poppy asked Harry. Her father, Seaman 1st Class Daniel Turnbull, passed away from leukemia in July 2020, making her issue deeply personal and reflective of the charity’s mission.“That makes sense to me,” Harry replied, heart-pounding, obviously moved by the question. He went on to share his coping mechanisms. “You know, sometimes it’s just a hard day. It’s not always possible to laugh. But my dog makes me laugh, my kids make me laugh. If I need to laugh, I’ll probably put something really funny on TV. “Harry then addressed all the children present, providing a broader perspective on managing difficult emotions. “This is true for all of you, there are times when you want to laugh but you may not always be able to. But you have your brothers and sisters, your friends, this community… But yeah, I think the point is, having a good laugh at the end of a hard day is the best medicine,” he concluded.
