New Delhi: The University of Delhi (UoD) has released the DU UG 2026 mock rank list of over 2.06 lakh candidates through its undergraduate admissions portal. The tentative rankings are based on candidates’ 2026 Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores and course preferences submitted during the admission process. Candidates can check the mock rank list on the official admissions website. The university has clarified that the mock ranking list is only a provisional indication of possible rankings and should not be considered final for admission to undergraduate courses. Candidates appearing in the list can still modify, add, delete or rearrange their course and university preferences before the final ranking and seat allotment is announced.Mock rankings based on CUET scores and submitted preferencesAccording to the university, the mock rankings are generated based on the CUET 2026 scores as well as the preferences filled by the applicants. Because candidates can revise their selections after viewing the mock rankings, the final rankings of any program may change before the admissions process reaches the first allocation stage. The University recommends that applicants carefully review their preferences within the allowed revision period. Any changes made by candidates may affect their final project ranking before seats are allocated.Tie-tie rules and verification processThe UoD said that when candidates are offered the same post on the basis of CUET scores, Class 12 marks will be used to resolve ties. The university also warned that any discrepancy or incorrect information in the Class 12 marks submitted by the applicants may result in the cancellation of the candidature without any prior notice. The applicant is solely responsible for the consequences of submitting inaccurate information.Performance-based courses excluded from mock rankingsThe university said mock rankings have not yet been generated for BA (Hons) Hindustani Music, BA (Hons) Carnatic Music, BA (Hons) Percussion, BSc Physical Education, Health Education and Physical Education and BFA courses. Admission to these courses will be through performance-based assessment rather than a mock ranking process.Record enrollment and first assignment scheduleThe 2026-27 undergraduate admissions cycle recorded the highest number of registrations since the introduction of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) in 2022. A total of 2,18,284 candidates have registered for DU UG CSAS admission 2026 while 2,06,835 applicants have completed the preference submission process.According to the school notification, the quota allocation for the first phase of DU UG CSAS 2026 will be announced on July 16.
