The first clear look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom mask has been revealed via concept art shared by a long-time member of the creative team. Former visual director Andy Park posted illustrations for the upcoming blockbuster on social media on July 11, giving fans their first look at several of the highly anticipated film’s main characters.“Avengers: Doomsday was the last full-length film that I had the privilege of leading as Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios. This illustration commemorates that journey and reveals the characters and their appearances for the first time. #AvengersDoomsday,” Parker wrote on the social media platform, marking an important moment in the film’s promotion.
Let’s look at regression first X-men characters
The illustration also includes the first promotional photos of several returning characters from the X-Men franchise who have never previously appeared in promotional material for the upcoming film. These include Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Kelsey Grammer as Beast and Rebecca Romijn as Mystique. The concept art also features the mysterious figure of Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, at the center of the illustration.
Andy Parker leaves the studio
Andy Park shared the artwork after leaving the creative team earlier this year. The director of the visual department was part of a massive layoff in April. He announced his departure on social media at the time, reflecting on his long tenure with the organization. “Marvel Studios Visual Development: 2010-2026. The end of an era. I was there when a team that broke the mold was first formed. 16 years, 40-plus films, 15 of them as Visual Development Director; I’m incredibly proud of the history we’ve made,” he wrote in commemoration of his time at the studio.

Avengers: Doomsday appears poised to be the studio’s most ambitious project yet, featuring a cast of superheroes played by well-known franchise actors. The cast includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebony Moss-Bachrack, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatu, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Queen, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright and numerous other actors represent one of the broadest casts for a superhero film.
‘Avengers: Endgame’ will be specially re-released
According to Collider , “Avengers: Endgame” will be re-released in theaters on September 25, 2026, reportedly titled “Avengers: Endgame Encore” as part of the promotional campaign for “Avengers: Endgame.” The re-release is expected to feature a customized introduction and a selection of bonus footage exclusive to the premium theatrical format, building excitement ahead of the Russo brothers’ return to the franchise.“Avengers: Endgame” is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 18, 2026.
