The latest allotment data shows that commerce has the highest number of admissions with 19,799 seats, making it the most popular undergraduate category in Gujarat University this year.Arts followed closely with 10,264 seats allocated, reflecting continued demand for traditional degree courses. At the same time, enrollment in science courses remained stable at 2,540 in undergraduate enrollment.The data shows that while students continue to favor established subjects, their course choices are increasingly influenced by career opportunities and industry demands.

Professional courses show strong interest among students

Professional undergraduate programs also attracted a large number of applicants during the current admissions cycle.According to TNN, the university has allocated 1,736 Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees and 1,128 Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degrees. Integrated courses are also witnessing encouraging participation during the ongoing admission process.The university has allotted 1,730 seats for various integrated courses, while 281 students have been admitted to the integrated LLB course. Furthermore, as per the latest data, 416 seats have been allocated for the BSc course.The steady response to integrated courses shows that many students choose academic pathways that combine undergraduate and advanced study within a single framework.

According to TNN, Gujarat University officials said that the admission process for the 2026-27 academic year is not over yet.
