The latest allotment data shows that commerce has the highest number of admissions with 19,799 seats, making it the most popular undergraduate category in Gujarat University this year.Arts followed closely with 10,264 seats allocated, reflecting continued demand for traditional degree courses. At the same time, enrollment in science courses remained stable at 2,540 in undergraduate enrollment.The data shows that while students continue to favor established subjects, their course choices are increasingly influenced by career opportunities and industry demands.
Professional courses show strong interest among students
Professional undergraduate programs also attracted a large number of applicants during the current admissions cycle.According to TNN, the university has allocated 1,736 Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees and 1,128 Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degrees.
