The poster puts RDJ’s Doctor Doom in the most prominent position, but also features Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Shang-Chi, Black Panther and the New Avengers.Notably, many of the characters appear to match story details and leaks that have been circulating online in recent months. While Marvel Studios has yet to officially release the poster, images from an event hosted by Kevin Feige suggest the leaks may be true.

Marvel also released a special video message from its major stars, who addressed fans directly from the film’s set. “We took a quick break on the set of Avengers: Doomsday to say hello to all the lovely people,” Robert Downey Jr. began the message.Chris Evans then teased the scale of the upcoming blockbuster, adding, “Armageddon is coming and the stakes have never been higher. Witness your love for this universe and these characters and let’s keep going.”In his closing remarks, Chris Hemsworth promised fans that this was Marvel’s biggest spectacle yet. “Like our collective boss and friend, Kevin will be quick to tell you, we’re working hard to make this the most epic movie yet. We’ll see you soon. “Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige spoke at the event and revealed RDJ’s reaction when he was offered the villainous role. “His exact words were, ‘I play the best hero…I can play the best villain,'” Feige revealed at the event.
Marvel returns to Hall H San Diego Comic Con
The promotion comes as Marvel Studios prepares to return to Hall H of San Diego Comic-Con after being absent from the event in recent years.The studio has confirmed that it will host a major panel dedicated to Avengers: Doomsday, and widespread industry reports indicate that the film’s first official trailer is expected to debut online shortly after the Comic-Con reveal on July 25, 2026.“Avengers: Doomsday” directed by the Russo brothers is scheduled to be released on December 18, 2026.
