The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the JoSAA Consultation 2026 4th Round Seat Allocation Result on its official website josaa.nic.in. Candidates participating in the counseling process can now check their allotted institutions and courses by logging in with their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) master application number and password.Candidates who are offered a seat in Round 4 must complete the online reporting process, upload the required documents and pay the seat acceptance fee by 5 pm on July 13, 2026.As per the official fee structure, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), General Persons with Disabilities (GEN-PwD), General Economically Weaker Groups-Disabled Persons (GEN-EWS-PwD), Other Backward Classes-Non-Last Class Persons with Disabilities (OBC-NCL-PwD), SC-PwD and ST-PwD categories need to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 15,000. Candidates in all other categories have to pay Rs 35,000.JoSAA is providing consultation for admissions to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses offered by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs).Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seats and do not wish to contest further rounds can opt for the ‘Freeze’ option. Candidates who want to consider admission to a better college in the next round can choose the ‘Float’ option, while candidates who want to retain their allotted college but seek a better branch can choose the ‘Slide’ option.According to the consultation schedule, the last round of seat allocation for JoSAA consultation 2026 will be announced on July 16, 2026 at 5 pm. Candidates who secured seats in the last round must report to their allotted institution for document verification by 5 pm on July 21, 2026.
