Dharmaal 4 hits theaters today and has generated huge anticipation thanks to its cast, interesting trailers and the long-standing popularity of the series. The film ends with a teaser for the sequel Dhamaal 5. But there’s another surprise right at the start: The movie opens with an animation that brings back the late, iconic actor. Satish Kaushik’s Bata Bhai recreated with CGI and AI
Kaushik first brought the character to life in Double Dhamaal (2011), the second film in the series, and his comedic antics struck a chord with the audience. Since the veteran actor’s death in 2023, makers have begun using CGI and artificial intelligence to recreate his likeness on screen. In recognition of this, a thank you to his wife Shashi Kaushik is also included in the opening credits.
Jackie Shroff Second special appearance
Jackie Shroff also appears in this animated sequence, marking his second special turn in the “Dhamaal” universe. He previously voiced the voice of a GPS system, a Tabori-style navigation device, in Total Dhamaal (2019), the third installment in the series Ajay DevganThe character took the fastest route, polarizing the audience.

“Paisa Lao”: Recreated Bella Ciao
Another highlight of the film is the song “Paisa Lao”, a new interpretation of the Italian song “Bella Ciao”, which became famous worldwide after appearing in the cult series “Money Heist”. This version is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Neeraj Shridhar.
