JoSAA 2026 Round 4 Seat Allocation: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is scheduled to release the seat allocation results of the 4th round of JoSAA consultation 2026 today, July 10, 2026, at 5:00 pm (Indian Standard Time). Candidates participating in the centralized admission process to IITs and other participating institutions will be able to check their provisional allotment status through the official JoSAA portal.In addition to allotment results, candidates will also have access to the opening and closing cutoff rankings of Round 4. Under the revised five-round consultation schedule introduced this year, the fourth round is the last opportunity for candidates to use the floating or sliding option before the final round of seat allocation.How to check fourth round allocationsOnce the result link is activated, candidates can visit the JoSAA official portal and click on the ‘View Round 4 Seat Allotment Result’ link on the home page.Candidates need to log in using their JEE Main 2026 application number and password. The deadline for payment of the seat acceptance fee is 5:00 pm on July 13, 2026.The seat withdrawal and exit window will remain open from July 11 to July 14, 2026. Candidates who have been allotted seats in IITs and wish to withdraw must complete the process before 5:00 pm on July 14, 2026.Available reporting optionsAfter viewing allotment results, candidates have to select one of the available admission options. The freeze option allows candidates to accept the allocated seats without participating in any further rounds.The floating option enables candidates to retain their assigned seat while still being eligible for higher priority programs at any participating institution. The slideshow option allows candidates seeking admission to higher preference courses within the same allotted institution.Candidates who are offered seats for the first time during Round 4 must upload the required documents including class 10 and 12 certificates and category certificates (if applicable) and complete the seat acceptance fee payment.Last round of consultationThe fifth and final round of the 2026 JoSAA consultation is scheduled to take place on 16 July 2026. The final round will complete the admission process to IITs and other participating institutions under the JoSAA counseling system.
