The film’s nett collection rose to Rs 1,150 crore on Saturday, while Sunday marked the film’s highest domestic box office day with an estimated Indian box office collection of Rs 1,590 crore.As per the latest box office collections, the film’s total box office collection in India is estimated to be Rs 502.3 crore, while its net box office collection in India is Rs 42.1 crore.The film’s overseas box office has also remained stable, with the film reportedly raking in an estimated Rs 150 crore on its fifth day of release. This takes its total overseas revenue to Rs 1,980 crore. Coupled with the film’s domestic collection, the film’s global box office collection currently stands at Rs 70.03 Cr.Saknirk further reported that the film saw good growth on Tuesday, which coincided with discounted ticket prices at the theater chain. The film reportedly not only helped boost attendance but also increased footfall, especially among families and younger viewers. While most other films faced weekday slumps, Alpha’s strategic ticket pricing helped the film maintain a steady box office curve.‘Alpha’ will now look to maintain its momentum throughout the rest of the week. It remains to be seen if the film can cross the Rs 100-crore mark by the end of its first week. The film will undoubtedly set another weekend box office record before going up against new releases, including Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” which is set to open in India next week.Alpha is set in the YRF spy universe and stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead roles, along with Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.
