Assam State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has released the Pre-Entrance Test (PET) Admit Card 2026 for admission to 2-year Diploma in Basic Education (D.El.Ed.)) 2026-28 academic year courses.Candidates who have successfully submitted their application form can now download the hall tickets from the official website scertpet.co.in. The admission ticket is a mandatory document and must be brought to the exam center on the day of the exam.According to the official schedule, SCERT Assam PET 2026 will be conducted on July 12, 2026, and the results are expected to be announced on July 27, 2026.

SCERT Assam PET 2026 Exam Details
PET is being conducted for admission to the two-year Diploma in Basic Education (D.El.Ed.) course offered by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognized teacher education institutions including District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs), Colleges of Teacher Education (CTE), Normal Schools, Basic Training Centers (BTCs) and Private Teacher Education Institutions (PTEIs) in Assam.The examination center allocated to each candidate is indicated on the admission ticket. Centers are allocated based on the region selected by the candidate during the application process and are located within a teacher education institution within the selected region.Candidates are advised to carefully check all the details printed on the admit card and bring it to the exam center along with a valid photo ID. Those who do not present their admission ticket will not be allowed to take the exam.
