Many years after the film was released, Urmila Matondkar revealed that she was so fascinated by Aamir’s performance that she felt the need to write him a personal letter before audiences and critics started heaping praises on him.Urmila recalled the incident when she was starring in ‘Dewandance 3’ in 2021 and said that this admiration came when she was dubbing for the film. “Not many people know that when I was dubbing for Rangeela, I watched Aamir’s performance and I was stunned. I wrote him a letter and I wrote in the letter, ‘You will receive many letters after this performance and you will also win awards. But this will be the first fan letter you will receive.‘”
