Candidates who participated in the recruitment process can now view the list of selected candidates on the official website.The final results were announced on June 29, 2026, which included the list of candidates selected for the post of Junior Intelligence Officer II/Technical level.

How was the final result prepared?

According to an official notification, the final selection is based on the overall performance of the candidates at various stages of the recruitment process.The selection process includes:

  • Level 1 Online Computer Test, to be held on October 15, 2025
  • Tier II and Tier III examinations will be conducted between April 15 and May 5, 2026

The list contains only the roll numbers of the selected candidates. The Intelligence Bureau has clarified that the list numbers are in ascending order and not in order of merit.

Important instructions to candidatesThe Intelligence Bureau said candidates belonging to the Economically Weak Class (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories and whose roll numbers appear under the Unreserved (UR) category meet the unreserved criteria.Roll numbers marked with “P” indicate that the candidate is a provisional candidate because the required documents or information were not submitted during document verification or interview.The Bureau also clarified that inclusion in the final results does not automatically guarantee an appointment. Final selection is subject to successful completion of character and background verification, medical examination, and meeting all other qualifications, including age, education, and category requirements. It also reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions in the results at a later stage if necessary.
