AP EAPCET 2026 toppers: Jonnala leads engineering, Sambangi leads agriculture and pharmaceuticals

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) today (July 1) announced the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) Result 2026, along with the list of top rank holders in the Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy categories. The examination was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE from May 12 to 15 and May 18 to 20 at 141 examination centers in Andhra Pradesh and 1 examination center in Hyderabad. This year’s topper list includes students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, reflecting that candidates from neighboring states continue to appear for the entrance exams.

Engineering top score 95.6975

Jonnala Roshan Manideep Reddy won the first position in the engineering category with a total score of 95.6975. Korukonda Sravya followed closely behind in second place with 95.5697. The top five list includes three candidates from Andhra Pradesh and two from Telangana.

Agriculture and Pharmaceuticals major scored 92.5398

In the Agriculture and Pharmacy category, Sambangi Jaswanth Naidu secured the first position with a total score of 92.5398. Kudumula Venkata Mahant Akshaj Reddy secured the second position with 91.8114, while Kondreddi Harika Devi Sri Anuhya secured the third position. The top five students were from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

More than 182,000 people obtained engineering qualifications

Engineering categories continue to account for a larger share of candidates. According to APSCHE data, 2,76,572 candidates have registered for the engineering exam. Among them, 2,58,545 people showed up, 1,82,317 qualified, and the overall passing rate was 70.52%. The agriculture and pharmacy categories have higher success rates. Of a total of 79,231 registered candidates, 70,929 took the exam and 63,546 passed. The pass rate is 89.59%.

what happens next

With the results out, focus turns to the counseling process where qualified candidates will compete for seats in Andhra Pradesh Colleges of Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy. For many students, the top spot marks a first milestone. The next phase will determine where these rankings translate into admissions.
