In a candid conversation with Ujjwal Trivedi, Faisal Khan publicly admitted his mistakes for the first time since his estrangement from Aamir Khan. He revealed that he had apologized to his mother, brother Aamir, sister Nihat and brother-in-law Santosh Hegde for the accusations he made publicly.He said, “I want to apologize to my mother first. I want to apologize to Nihat. I want to apologize to Santosh. I also apologize to Aamir. In anger and pain, I said a lot of things I shouldn’t have said. “Faisal also admitted that publicly criticizing his family was one of his biggest mistakes, adding that these issues should be addressed privately and not in front of the media.Faisal said he was no longer interested in proving who was right or wrong. Instead, he said he valued peace and harmony with his family more than finding out the truth. He believes that reading the Quran inspired him to reconnect with his loved ones and strengthened the importance of family bonds.
Turning Points and Reconciliation
Recalling the moment that changed things, Faisal Khan said he realized he had become estranged from his family and decided to take the first step towards reconciliation. When he called his sister Nihat, she answered immediately. He later learned that his mother had been missing him, which moved him deeply, prompting him to fly to Mumbai the next day to meet his family.Faisal revealed that he personally apologized to his mother and later met with Aamir Khan to seek forgiveness for speaking out about family matters. According to him, after years of misunderstanding, his family welcomed him back with love, ending the long-standing feud. He added that he now hopes his family will trust and understand him, saying life is too short to dwell on past conflicts.
